The sting out will be appreciated as will the 2kg claim for Bella Youngberry. BONFIRE SPARK was well supported when resuming only to be completely (and surprisingly) gassed from gate 10 by Ben Thompson, scorching over the 1st 500m in less than 28 seconds. The mare did well to finish, let alone finish 6th. That was 23 days ago so she has had plenty of time to sleep that off. The mare has a win here in soft ground and a 2nd here in the heavy. CROWN GUINEA strips fitter, bolted in over 1200m here in heavy ground last April.
