According to the BOM there could be showers and/or good rain about on raceday. Anything from 8 mil to 70 mil is the forecast (that's quite a range, must be an each way punter, bless 'em). Keep an eye on all of that. Kick things off with a 1200m 2yo maiden. Billy Healey was good for three but very early on scratched the one drawn the widest so we are left with a five horse race. Hence he remains good for two as does Liam Birchley. All four of them trialed here early Feb but that was on a good track, most likely irrelevant. On that small sample DO A LITTLE DANCE may be the pick of the quartet. Would like to think the market moves guide as to which ones Billy and LIam fancy. For now it would appear that Paul Butterworth can stare them both down. His colt SNIPER BOOM placed 2nd on debut in town, had no excuses whatsoever but was quite the betting drifter and Ben Thompson sticks.
