FLYING MIKKI finished a good 4th in this race last year with 61kg. He placed in the same race prior as his lead up run. So the bottom line is, he's going well enough to be competitive again. He ran by STAY SILENT near the line in that lead up run. That horse was in the box seat and held on well. If we knew JOIN THE QUE on a wet track, would be keen. He's a smart horse. There were genuine excuses for his only start on a soft 6. Stablemate TANGANYIKA was worst ground 1st up and far from disgraced. He could be a blow out chance. STAY HUMBLE has returned well. No problems out to 1400m for him. NAINA has had 10 weeks off after her surprise win at Flemington. She's still a query on a wet track with her fail being at 2000m. She's good enough. ZUNNA was beaten by a promising mare last time. She may've been galloped on in running as there were some vet issues noted post race. If she copes with 1400m she is a very good chance. SILVER MAGNATE comes back to the turf. The soft 6 he raced on 1st up is the wettest track he's seen. He ran well. Last time he was back and wide in a race where they ran a record. I can forgive. JENNI MULTABELLA returned well at Sale. Rising 5yo and only 4 starts, she's obviously had her issues. With a light weight, she is in the mix.
