A small field but a decent midweek 2yo race. The new-comers have jumped out ok. LADY MOSCATO resumes, 22 weeks after a respectable effort in the Blue Diamond. She's trialling ok in NSW although I'm not convinced a genuine wet track his her preferred surface. ONE DAY AT A TIME comes back to the 1000m after kicking off at 1200m. She ran well opening up a big lead out in the middle of the track. Back to the 1000m looks good and it must be noted she ran over the line with the subsequent Blue Diamond winner on debut over 1000m. FONTALICIOUS is very fit, handling wet tracks and racing well. EGYPTIAN DANCER was no match for a smart pair last time. She held 3rd narrowly there from one who had finished 4th to FONTALICIOUS at her previous run. MIRADOR was around 1L behind EGYPTIAN DANCER 1st up at Caulfield. Given the runs in transit there's not much between them.
