Without Itsukushima in the field, she might get a cosy lead and her chance to run out a strong 1800m. She's in the mix for sure. "Winning" horses TAKA SPEED and WACO KID have to be strong chances. TAKA SPEED is 3 from 5 now and unbeaten on good tracks. He beat a subsequent winner last time. WACO KID got a great swoopers run last time. Doubt 1800m will pull him up. He is flying. 9yo AUSTRATA had a strong 1800m record here as a much younger horse. He's going well. DESERT ANTHEM had tempo to help 1st up but he was good. MR BANNOCK looked a much sharper horse at the jump outs and he took that to race day. 1800m will suit now. EN FLIQUE had an impressive home town win last time.
