Good depth. ILLUMINANCE wasn't flash away and settled further back than expected last start, but ran on well after not the clearest of passages. Will use the draw here. CROCODILE changes stables, but won first up last preparation for Team Hayes and then contested some stakes races in the Spring. Winner on the heavy and lovely jumpout on Soft5 at Cranbourne two gallops back. SMART LITTLE MISS made nice improvement in Metro BM74 and drops back in class. Last time raced in non metro company was just beaten in BM70. MIDNIGHT DEVIL is the big improver at run three and always takes a few races to peak. Nice draw, and went well against 1000m flyer last start. CRYPT was very good at Geelong two starts back when a peak run, potentially had to regress and/or maybe is better served in a 1200m.
