The returning and promising 3yo stayer SAVISANTA is sure to be all the rage in this 1515m maiden. He did well in his first campaign going from a close 2nd on debut over 1425m to a 6th in the VRC Derby beaten just under 3L. On the way to that derby run he finished 2nd in three maidens. He threw away victory at start 2 with greenness. Start 3 around here he gave a way too much start. This is a shallow race. FASTOBID is his danger. He was ok 1st go in a slowly run race when he went back from a wide barrier. He should be handy here. BOLSHIE ran well 1st up. He's had a few chances but I'd expect him to be breaking his maiden status very soon. KADDARI with Ethan Brown aboard looks the other winning hope.
