MI BELLA (10) has been freshened up since winning on a heavy track here just over 7 weeks ago, and she has the draw to receive the run of the race. She drops 2.5kg, and she looks well placed to repeat the dose. BETTER SHARED (3) has won all of her 3 starts this prep, including the Gore Guineas in her penultimate start. Dropping back to 1000m should not be an issue, and she can continue on her winning way here. QUEEN OF SHEBA (13) has yet to run a bad race in 5 starts. She was beaten by a nose in the Gore Guineas, and she should be very competitive again. EASTANDWEST (9) was a beaten favourite in his first run at this level at Riverton nearly 3 weeks ago, after a big win by a nose there before that. He loves the wet and will be charging home late in this. Stick with him. TORONTO (7) is a very handy Central Districts-trained gelding who has trialled up nicely since finishing a game fourth at Ellerslie on New Year's Day. Each way.
