TROUVAILLE (10) showed talent when trained in the North Island, and he was placed twice on the Cambridge poly track, which should transfer to this surface nicely. He has a good draw, and if he doesn't need the run, then he can take this out. HIGH ROLLER (3) has won his only race to date on this surface, and he won't lack any fitness. His last start was fair after missing the kick, and he will have the barrier blanket on this time, which may help him begin on even terms this time. Each way value. PURPLE PROSE (1) will give the top Walker/Bergerson stable a strong hand in this race, and his best form has come on this course. He ran on late over 1400m at Ashburton 4 weeks ago, and will be suited to a return to 1600m. Stick with him. WREN (8) is having no luck with her barrier draws, and she has been settling too far back in her last couple of runs. She is worth another chance. LIPPY (2) drops back from some recent racing over a middle distance, and he is worth including to be safe.
