A Tuesday evening deluge left the best part of 70mm of rain on this track so we woke to a Heavy 8 rating when most races took acceptances on Wednesday morning. 20mm more on Thursday kept the rating as Heavy 8 but there us a chance there is no more significant rain until after this meeting. My sense is that we could start on a Soft 7 and be upgraded from there. Dare say there is an ambition to get us to a 5 at some stage? We open with a mile race and here lies entry to the Big Dance on Nov 3rd. 2, 5, 7, 9, and 10 have all entered for other races. Pace looks modest which should allow MATIAS to trail handy from his inside barrier.
