A Tuesday evening deluge left the best part of 70mm of rain on this track so we woke to a Heavy 8 rating when most races took acceptances on Wednesday morning. More rain expected - 1-5mm on each of Thursday/Friday Saturday? - but the forecast definitely didn't match with reality on Tuesday so who knows. My sense is that there is room for improvement here as well and I think we could start on a Soft 5 or 6 and see what happens from there. We open with a mile race and here lies entry to the Big Dance on Nov 3rd. 2, 5, 7, 9, and 10 have all entered for other races. Pace looks modest which should allow MATIAS to trail handy from his inside barrier. VIVY AIR won the race last year and was 2nd in it in 2024, and of course has been runner-up in the Big Dance in both of those years.
