On pace runners, 2, 5, 10, 11. SCENIC POINT was solid first up here on the course proper last start with Adam Hyeronimus aboard. She can only now present race-fitter with Adam retaining the ride. SHOTGUN BELLA resumes after two trials. The race she won first up last preparation at Scone produced terrific subsequent form and she can be expected to make her presence felt first up again today. ISLAND DEC kept trying in defeat after she endured a tough run second up at Rosehill. She should have less to do today. FOUND THE GOLD struck too much trouble when she resumed last start at Canterbury. Her effort in defeat was full of merit. BLUE MONDAY was a first up Albury winner last campaign in a race that produced very strong form. She presents first up here but as a market place query. Unlike last campaign, she now presents without a lead-up trial? BLITZGAL was a dual acceptor for this meeting and after there were excuses first up at Canterbury, she must be treated with respect in whichever race she presents in second up today, CHIC has been withdrawn from recent meetings at Rosehill and at Newcastle. Instead, she will resume today with a gear change from her most recent outing reversed (winkers are off) and after two recent trials, this distance should be ideal, aided by the claim for Anna Roper. It may however be a case of the firmer the better for her!
