On pace runners, 2, 8, 9, 13. MAMUSHKA presents first up from an eleven week break after trialing twice. She overcame problems to score here on the course proper within this distance range when she was last produced after an almost identical break and this race is also within her reach. THAMES is resuming with a gear change made (blinkers first time) and she must be treated with respect at only her third start since a stable change. FLEETING SPIRIT did enough first up here last start with gear changes made to be considered as suitably placed today, second up. MRS MAREE did all but win within this distance range at Kembla Grange after she attempted to lead throughout. Similar tactics are likely to now be adopted.
