OVERSTRIKE was having his first run on the track when fourth behind Jamrock on New Years Eve. He's bound to have taken benefit from that run. WARM BREEZE kicked off his last campaign with an easy win at Murray Bridge, then led all the way to win at Gawler at his next start. He has trialled well leading into this. MCKEEVER made it two wins from three starts this campaign when he took out a bm68 last time. A solid tempo up front here will help his chances. Veteran galloper MESSERSCHMITT continues to perform consistently without winning. MY MATE SONNY could sneak into a place fresh.
