About Mt-barker Racecourse
Mt Barker Racecourse is located in Plantagenet, 368 kilometres southwest of Perth and 50 kilometres north of Albany. The racecourse began operation in the early 1890s. It hosts four feature race days each year, including the Grapes and Gallops in January, and the XXXX Gold Mt Barker Cup Day in March, which is the final race meet of the season.
