Hard race to finish. BEARBRASSBLACKFISH ran a total shocker last time when stepped up in trip. Thought his form suggested better chance would be in 1500-1600m range. Went well in 1600m on heavy9 at Seymour only try on severely wet ground. TIGHT GRIP will be better for two runs and all wins have been further into preparation like this. Drops from BM62 right down to an average BM56. Much better transition into this race was was bounced up 400 to 1600m last start, which is never easy. I'M DYNAMITE hasn't been on heavy tracks for quite a while, but was running very well in BM64 races in those races. FEARLESS MONARCH was used up mid race and battled on well. Bit of depth in that field. Has placed in 2 of four wet track runs.
