MOAKSUN has placed 6 of nine starts on wet ground. Fitter for two runs back. Ran some good splits first up in a strong form race, and last start didn't get out wide enough. MR MARKEL was too keen early in the run then got locked away on the inside and never got the runs her needed. THE CRUISER has run well on rain affected going in recent times. Mixes his in runnings but does seem to get forward on rain affected going. Up on the pace at Werribee over 1100m and was run down late. DERELICT was given a very, very strong hit out up in the lead when knocking up late against Hey Kleine Maus, who was just beaten at Pakenham. Placed over 1000m at Casterton last time he raced on soft ground
