DURAZZO got too far back from a wide draw fresh before settling handy and scoring a strong win in the Newmarket second up. He meets the beaten brigade better at the weights and the rise to 1400m is a positive. He's clearly the one to beat again. Victorian raider BANK MAUR should lead these for fun and can give a big sight. THESPIAN WATERS was good late in the Newmarket and was only narrowly denied by The Inevitable in this race last year. ALVARINHO defeated Durazzo fresh and was again sound after facing the breeze in the Newmarket.
