ALPINE FURY failed to finish off at his first try on heavy going fresh before scoring well on top of the ground second up. He's been freshened for the drop in trip and should enjoy a nice trail just off the speed from the kind draw. LADY GALADRIEL was a tad disappointing as fave third up but had been good at her first two runs this prep and can bounce back. WEDNESDAY'S BOSS finished off hard to score first up last prep and can again sprint well while new here. HARTMAN was only worn down late after leading at Devonport third up.
