IT'SBRUCE was close up at his first run for the Gwenda Johnstone stable, trying hard and only just missing out on a placing. He is yet to salute second up but has been thereabouts. Stablemate MUTSUHITO is suited down in class off a good finish over a shorter trip when resuming. BROADHURST has been kept up to the mark with a Seymour jump-out win having been sound at her two runs this campaign. THE HAY FLYER usually performs well in this sort of company. ROLIHLAHLA is down in grade and has won at this trip.
