IT'SBRUCE was close up at his first run for the Gwenda Johnstone stable, trying hard and only just missing out on a placing. He is yet to salute second up but has been thereabouts. Stablemate MUTSUHITO is suited down in class off a good finish over a shorter trip when resuming. BROADHURST has been kept up to the mark with a Seymour jump-out win having been sound at her two runs this campaign. THE HAY FLYER usually performs well in this sort of company.
