TERRACOTTA WARRIOR idled home in Cranbourne jump out to place and the key is didn't wear the blinkers that he will be fitted with here for the first time. Wide and no cover in genuinely run event on debut and winner went to Caulfield metro juvenile and towelled them up. Interested in the first starters. Thought the Savabeel debutants would run well. SAVFIELD balanced up in a Flemington 1000m and was going nicely up the inner with little effort. The other PERFECT RIPOSTE made good progress in last two jump out and has found the 800m a bit short, much better placed this distance range. DIAMOND VIRTUE poked along in Flemington jump out behind Momentum, who went pretty well against the likes of Star of Macedon in Flemington open 2yo debut. MYSTIC RAPTURE was beaten roughly same distance as next start winner Anglais here last start on good track. Profile suggests better placed on predicted softer ground. DEMPSEY continued his poor first up form and ordinary record on dry ground. Goes well here, has pace and gets back on rain affected going. Expect significant improvement.
