STRANGLEHOLD finished off hard for an impressive second up win. He'll be even fitter now and the rise to 1666m shouldn't pose a problem. MADAME CODY was only worn down late after leading fresh and should be in this for a long way as well provided she doesn't have to do too much early work from the wide draw. NOIRE EMPEROR came from just off the pace to score over this route before another solid effort at his first try on synthetic. STEEL IMPACT improved sharply to score second up and will be even fitter now.
