CERETTI was sound when placing fresh before getting too far back when staying at 1000m second up. She should be able to settle closer from the inside draw out to 1350m and an improved showing is expected. CHEVALLUM closed well to just miss as a drifting favourite on debut and will have plenty of admirers again. ASTERN EFFORT is bursting for a win having been game in defeat at his past three outings. PROPHET OF DESTINY was given every chance when placing at his first attempt but hasn't drawn as kindly on this occasion.
