CAPTAIN MAVERICK was unlucky two starts ago when 3rd home at Eagle Farm on top of the ground then placed 3rd here on a soft 7. 4th run in today, extra trip suits, should go well. ROCK YA was rock-solid winning around Doomben at its 4th run in. GALWAY FLYER is a rare beast in that not many stayers win two in a row. He just has and he may well make it three in succession. MALECON filed under 'they knew'. How it won two starts ago I shall never know but they jumped out of trees to take the big odds and got the cash. Had some excuses since. Respect the betting!!!! WEONA REDWOOD and KIRORO PEAK map well. These two could be the value.
