BRERETON worked home soundly in the Syndicate fresh before being unsuited in a race controlled by the leader second up. He'll relish the drop in class and should be peaking now. LAYDOWNLILY has been sound at both runs back from a break and is unbeaten from two tries here. EMPEROR scored well when resuming and will only be improved. KRAKARIB can hold the front from the kind draw and prove tough to run down if able to control the tempo with the light impost.
