Small field to contest this 'Mile' C3. Map says the stablemates 4 and 6 settle ahead, 1 might be the stalker. MAN OF THE TOWN resumed in great form winning three on the bounce, latter two in town. Since then failed to see out 1805m at Eagle Farm then finished 5th here in a 1700m BM70. To put it mildly was a complete trainwreck. Stuck inside from the 600m climbing over backs from the 250m with nowhere to go from that point on. ZOU BIG BOY strips fitter again but had all favours on a suitably wet track 2nd-up. EL PENSADOR copped a severe check 200m from home when 2nd-up at Doomben, this can be the significant improver.
