KING EMPEROR charged home to just miss on debut before sitting too far back at his second attempt. The rise to 1666m looks suitable now and he must be given another chance. BRASS BAND is starting to rack up the convictions but has been game in the placings at his past four attempts. Expect I SAY I SAY to press forward from his wide draw and be in it for a long way. AMAZARA improved sharply to place second up, then made good ground from the back in a race controlled by the leader last time.
