Due to the rain wise heads decided Monday arvo to postpone this meeting by one day. Sure to be heavy but much more chance they run. Kick things off with an 1100m QTIS 2yo Hcp. Only a dozen can run. No's 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,12,1,3,14,15 eligible for the bonus. Candidates to make the pace being no's 1,2,3,4,6,10,13,16. Only time will tell how many of them remain. WRITTEN ACLAIM may have been a run short when unplaced last start in the Ken Russell, he's run well in the wet previously. The resuming WARREGO RIVER creates plenty of interest given there was solid support for it on debut, heat stress blamed. With all being lightly raced, and the state of the track in mind, this is not an easy race to assess.
