On Pace runners, 1, 3, 8. BE MORE PACIFIC found the line pleasingly at Tuncurry when he was produced for the third time since a stable change. He can open his account today without causing a surprise. PACIFIC REEL has been in work for some time but he gave no indication last start within this distance range, that he might be in need of a spell. HILLBILLY HIPPIE finished unplaced second up at Coffs Harbour. Her effort was however better than it appears at face value. ZORKO performed below expectations at Quirindi but he does clearly have scope to improve third up. SOOFREE can be forgiven for an unplaced latest Coffs Harbour outing.
