Decent speed engaged as the field stands, but we have several dual acceptors. RUNRANIRUN appears to be solely focused on this race and can lead if they want to, she bolted in at Canberra first up in a suitable race. There has been intent to switch off RAINBOW GLOW and ride her quiet in both the trial and the first-up run and it hasn't worked. Expect she is given license to run along again in which case she can improve sharply. The promising VALILEE has to be kept safe gunning for a delayed hat-trick. CLOSE ENCOUNTER will be running on strongly and could be the blowout pending what speed is left in the field.
