SKYHOOK finds a race in which he should be able to assert some authority. 3-4L defeats in races like the Slipper, Golden Rose, Coolmore and Arrowfield indicate he is somewhat short of the very high level but this is very different opposition. BUFFALO had the barrier against him last start and the same is true today. Raw talent not in question though and he is allowed to be at his peak now 3rd-up after a lengthy break. TAMBELOA really intrigues me here, off a break after just one but very encouraging trial (last week against only three others but a couple of handy ones).
