NAFANUA can make good use on an inside gate and settle up front with the debutant, WRITTEN IN WRATH, who has looked the part at the trials. He's primed for a successful first run in a race after displaying enough pace in lead up trials to cross cheaply and also settle as a leader. Another debutant, GRAVEL ROAD need not be far away early. He also has early pace and he has enough ability to feature here at his first start. WAVERLEY ROAD resumes from a very long spell after trialing twice last month. He finished almost beside a next start Sunshine Coast winner at Randwick at his only start to date and he can return improved here, as a gelding for the first time. WRITTEN IN WRAITH SPHERE and DECLAN only need to repeat most recent performances to again figure in the finish when they now make their Gosford debuts.
