OUTDRIVE has run two strong races at 1600m after a spell on soft tracks so fitness levels will be good for this trip. Mott has a nice association, and the drop from BM62 to BM56 makes good appeal. TREASURY PLACE has won both starts on heavy going and charged past them down the outside fence where it was advantageous. Jumped up around 300m metres in that win, so a likely improver with a less dramatic transition here. ALMAGO comes back from a break, but won nicely first up over 1600m last preparation. Too keen in town last start, but stuck on ok which is a good sign. That was on soft 5. Previous soft track pulled up with mucous being detected post race. TEE EIGHT'S best form is 2000m and further so the run at 1500m first up was solid stepping stone for this. Has a good profile on heavy tracks with top four finish in three attempts.
