TALAVERA hasn't been seen for 265 days. Looks like won't have any issue with this trip first-up after placing over 1500m on debut, then tackled stakes company at second start. Market and mounting yard commentary important. Sat close to the speed when untested to win Bendigo 1000m jump out on Heavy 9. MISSION OF JOY wasn't far from second behind easy winner Licentious over 1300m first up. Sure to improve after 28 weeks off the scene. Hard in market in town two starts back, but vet reported throat condition and rider said action wasn't right. GASOLINE RAINBOW was in contention straightening up at Donald first up on heavy track, but tired over the final 200m and it looked maybe a conditioning issue as only had one jump out going into a 1350m event, which is not ideal. Backing stable and expecting improvement. ICE QUAKE made considerable improvement second-up on a heavy track and battled on well on the Heavy9. Gets a good run.
