Another strong benchmark race. MR NATURAL can go on after his spectacular maiden win last start. He was able to defy the on pace pattern of the day, coming from well back in the field. 1400m will suit and down there on 55.5kg he's going to be hard to hold out. KARREN, of course will be the one to beat. She was spelled after winning the hottest of maidens on debut. She appreciated the step up to 1300m last time, controlled the race and won well. It seems likely she will follow regular front-runner REGAL MIGHT across. BRASS IN POCKET resumes. While most eyes were on the very good mare Concord Connie when she won her maiden at $1.40, BRASS IN POCKET was charging home behind her. She went right on with it next time winning her maiden on speed showing some versatility. POWER AND THE BEAT strips fitter for a good return here. There are many more who are there to run well and be followed going forward.
