PHINEAS was having his first run for Chris Bieg when midfield behind stablemate Scandalize at Morphettville last start. This is easier, he can settle handy to the speed from a good draw. WINE BARRON will strip fitter for two runs back from a spell and can improve sharply. He has won two races here. JOVIALE is back in trip after finishing third to Savsonic at Oakbank last time. He looked good winning at Strathalbyn the start prior. MRS SECOMBE steps up to her preferred distance range here at her fourth run back from a break. Others: BRAVE STAR (at best on rain affected tracks) and STOKOMO.
