ELITE THUNDER finished fourth in a stronger race at Strathalbyn a fortnight ago. He returns to maiden grade and looks suited out to 1500m. SIR CASTLETON raced keenly in front at Balaklava last time and did well to battle on and finish second. LUNAR VISTA was forced to cover ground last time, just fading late to finish fourth. Two runs prior to that were good. COPPER FLANGE wasn't disgraced when just behind the placegetters at Balaklava at her second start.
