As we get closer to Magic Millions Day these 2yo races become more important & here in the McLachlan Stakes we get to see the current favourite Paradoxium make his first local appearance. Obvious tempo setters are nos.2, 7 & 10. I'm with PARADOXIUM however will say at this stage I wouldn't be knocking anyone over to get set for the big race in a few weeks. He did sustain speed & absorb pressure winning at Wyong & will likely prove too classy & speedy for this bunch off the good draw. TORNADO VALLEY has good Melbourne spring form to recommend him whilst ZIP LOCK looks the pick of the locals.
