1000m BM65. No's 2,3,4,7,12 bring speed to the race, some others could be a nuisance if so instructed. DON'T CALL ME HONEY won well fresh then never saw daylight 2nd-up. Nice and fresh, brings extra energy to this. In a perfect world, being Australia Day and all - aka a time to come together - Shailer would admit he is no Nostradamus when it comes to jockey form (subsequent results have proven that), would have engaged the very much in-form A Sewell and said 'l'et's do it brother' a nation could have risen as one, seen two men embrace #tears, back-slapping etc - in a time when so many men seem to be keen to do anything but be leaders. Alas, that's a perfect world, I need to get a grip. Australia Day is emblamatic at best. Who truly does anything different than they did the before? Not me! This is the 'Sport of Kings' aka real-life. A real tough life at that, more so when you get up at sparrows and then compete when it's too hot to think. Hence given gate one and three kg's weight relief all the more reason to be respecting/selecting number two. C'mon Jai, there's no room for sentimental old fools like me, bring it home! AIR WE GO was an easing favourite when resuming, found just one better, it too draws well, it too warrants plenty of thought. BUNDELLA will be thrilled to read in it's Bets Bets that it is dropping back from 1200m to its pet distance, 1000m. LARADO won well fresh, if they can run on this should.
