The 3200m Brisbane Cup sees nos.1, 8 & 9 as the runners most likely to go forward. Waterhouse/Bott stablemates ALALCANCE & BELLA MONTAGNA fought out the Premier's Cup here 2 weeks ago with the former prevailing. Loved the way BELLA MONTAGNA kept on closing the margin right to the line though & with a 3kg weight swing here I'm in her corner. The ground is certainly no issue, she loves it, the trip is the unknown, I'll take the punt! THEBUDGIESMUGLA looms as a chance, gets through the going & sticks on well. Could be some big gaps between runners here when they finally reach the line!
