Only a small field to go around in the Eagle Way where last start maiden winner Tap High shapes as the leader although keep in mind all runners stretch out to 2100m for the first time, a few early surprises wouldn't shock. 1, 2, 3 & 4 come out of the Grand Prix & were no match for the winner. 5 & 7 come straight from maiden wins & 6 is still to break through. Who will be the superior 3yo at the end of 2100m? DAD AND DAVE's maiden win was in slow time & the form in & out of the race hasn't been strong. He could only win though & he looks like he'll lap up the trip. I'll lean his way.
