We race at Eagle Farm in Brisbane on Saturday with another hugely successful Summer Carnival behind us. Time seems to move rapidly these days suggesting the Winter features will be on our doorstep before we know it. Track posted a Soft (5) this morning, expect an upgrade to Good. Only a small field to go around in the opener which unfortunately doesn't make it any easier, no standouts. Debutante LONESOME STAR looked good winning her Warwick 800m trial, last 600 solid & there was gas in the tank, 1200m is the obvious query. 2, 5 & 6 all winning chances.
