First Group 1 of this year's Winter Racing Carnival takes place on Saturday with the running of the Doomben 10,000. Track rated a soft (7) at acceptance time on Wednesday morning, the forecast going forward suggests a further 20mm is possible in the lead-up & including race day itself, monitor closely.
