MARINE EMPRESS returned well at Bendigo. That soft tempo was never going to suit her over 1300m. She's much better off here at the 1600m. DEADLY PRESS had a good breakthrough at Seymour 5 weeks ago. He's a proven weight carrier. KIWI JENNY won her 1600m maiden in good style 8 weeks ago. It seems she likes rain affected ground. Doubt she has any trouble measuring up to better class. It was no surprise to see REEL DEADLY improve when ridden up on the speed last start. With early use of the track his time compared favourably with the BM62 run 7 races later. VICTORY TUNE is a long way into his latest preparation. He'll find this easier than the Silverbowl final. ENCHANTED JENNI ran well here two back in one of these but draws very wide.
