CAER IBORMEITH had to work hard early from a wide gate at Gawler last start and she battled on okay to finish in fourth. IMPENDING FURY has not been far away in the finish at his past couple and looks better suited back to 1800m. SWEET KICK worked to the line well to finish just behind the placegetters over 1550m at Morphettville two starts ago. KOHALA ran an improved race to finish fifth at Murray Bridge at his third run back from a spell. He'll carry 56kg after the claim. EMBERANCE and LILLIKINS (drawn awkwardly) look the best of the rest.

About Clare Racecourse
Clare Valley Racecourse is located in the Clare Valley region of South Australia, about 1.5 hour’s drive from Adelaide. It is operated by the Clare Valley Racing Club, which hosts four annual events. The track is rectangular with a circumference of 1450 metres and a short straight of 220 metres.
