Pace should be strong here with Midwest and Beast Mode both likely to go hard. GEEGEES MISTRUTH closed very strongly when runner-up in successive good races in the spring. She has jumped out well in preparation for this. OAK HILL comfortably ran down MIDWEST when first up last time in. Oak Hill meets him two-and-a-half kilos worse but did beat him by a length and a half that day and was strong on the line. Midwest and BEAST MODE are both likely to be in contention with 50m to go. INSURRECTION usually races well fresh.
