YES YOSHI was heavily backed when impressing on debut. Raced clear last 150m and relative time comparison with BM62 was ok . Runner up then won next start at Geelong. WILTSHIRE SQUARE suited by the claim as quite a compact type. Finished on nicely last run and time was about 7 lengths quicker than the other 1000m benchmark race. SAVITRI is a "watch totes and betting moves" runner trying the dry for first time. Visually, easy winner, time was vastly inferior to other 1200m. ELECTRIC ELVIS improves with racing and last showing when run down late suggests ready to run well. Claim helps. BIG STAR has pace to use the inside draw on the tighter inside track.
