ADLERIAN (7) has yet to race up to her good trial form, and she resumes from another spell. She has been placed in her only start on a poly track, and she may not be the worst to include in all top 4 combos here. PINE LEAF (6) settled back too far from a wide gate at Te Rapa last time out, and a superior draw here will make all the difference. Don't risk her. MAN O' SLEW (4) fought on well enough fresh up when finishing fifth here 4 weeks ago over 1300m. The extra 300m will suit him, and he can run into a top 4 placing in this.
