SPINHOF is 0 from 6 on wet ground so put a line through last run on the soft at Horsham. Really good form in this grade two previous starts. Winner at the trip only start here. GOLD GOVERNOR was slow out when resuming, but has pace to use the draw. Will Gordon a major plus. In one of few runs on good tracks went well enough in Kilmore 0-64 to be a threat here. PALENTINE'S DAY normally sits forward, but rider lost use of iron early at Colac last start. Nice return at Wangaratta says he's deserving of another chance. GLORIOUS MACHINE is on the public holiday back up. Comes through some quickly run races this preparation. Chance in race lacking depth.
